Course Content

The course aims to provide students with an introduction to the fundamental problems of economic organization, i.e., coordinating and motivating the members of an organization. Coordination by the price system in a market is compared to the alternatives, mainly the internal working of a firm. The fundamental issue of efficiency in transaction and contracting are the focus of the course
