The course aims at developing managerial skills for the governance of innovation within companies, including both start-ups and large-sized enterprises.  Topics cover the whole innovation process: from idea generation to its commercialization, through iterative steps (e.g. prototyping, project management, market tests, ecc).  
Both legal and strategic solutions to protect the competitive advantage against imitation are discussed. The focus is especially on companies belonging to hi-tech, web and Life Science sectors. 

The course considers: 

  • key notions and conceptual models
  • practical tools, such as 'business planning' or 'Elevator Pitches'; 
  • interactive sessions and teamworks
  • seminars held by international scholars, entrepreneurs and angel investors.
